(Scroll to the bottom to preview Circus Rio in video!)
Brisbane is ablaze with the vibrance and rhythm of Brazil, as Circus Rio travels Queensland’s south-east.
The first-of-it’s kind circus to hit Aussie shores combines Latin beats, Samba dance, ballet, aerial performance, Capoeira combat and FMX bikes. It’s an action-filled event which will thrill and excite your whole family. Circus Rio is Australia’s largest travelling circus, seating up to 2000!
Our family of six was absolutely blown away by the extreme talent and sensational skills displayed by over 40 international performers when we visited the Mt Gravatt location in early March.
Circus Rio will be at Logan until 15 July, coinciding with the school holidays. It’s a spectacular outing for families of Brisbane, Logan and the Gold Coast.
My four kids were absolutely enthralled by the performances, costumes, props and music. They were thrilled to be invited (along with all audience members) on to the stage after the finale for a meet and greet with the stars!
If you’re starting to plan for the April school holidays, pop Circus Rio on the list!

This looks amazing. So much has changed over the years with the circus and they are getting more spectacular all the time.

Stunning show! I honeymooned in Rio and have a very soft spot for anything Brazilian. I hope this is coming to Melbourne?
