Manduca Carrier Review

I’ve heard amazing things about the German-made Manduca carrier over the years but when Lachie was eight months old, I discovered its many benefits for myself. I had been using a Hug-a-bub wrap, then a ring sling from the same brand, wearing him every day. He was getting a little wriggly and a little heavy at this stage!

Fertile Mind offered to send me a Manduca to photograph and I was thrilled when it arrived. I wrote a post about unpackaging it here.

I’ve done a little Youtube vid to show you the Manduca in detail, which you’ll find below.

Since having my first child almost eight years ago, I’ve realised that a lot of the baby stuff on the market is quite unnecessary. The Manduca is not one of those things. I use this product each and every day and couldn’t be without it, it makes parenting so much easier.

I can’t speak highly enough about this carrier. It’s by far the best one I’ve ever used.

Did or do you use a baby carrier? What activities do you do whilst babywearing? Have you become involved with the tight-knit babywearing community since having kids? Love to hear below!

  1. I love my Manduca! I had one for baby two, which I lost at 18 months… but had to buy another as there as no way we could love without it! We take it everywhere, no travel prams or carrying babies, but manduca all the way 🙂 but, buy a dark one, our bluish one is constantly dirty as we use it all the time

    1. They’re such a necessity hey Kate? I never realised! Actually you were the one I found out about them from because you love yours so much! ❤️❤️❤️

  2. Some kids loved to be held close and some do not. As Grandma to babies when I was caring for them I tried one of the carriers back then (not this one) and to be honest, it was very hard for me to manage I ended up carrying them. Sigh. Those days are long gone and I am glad that this is working for you! Thank you for linking up for #lifethisweek 39/52. Next week: Letter to My 20 year old Self.
